Once again I apologize for the severe lack of updates in this journal. I have been busy with school work, exams, preparing for vacation in early June, planning a book and throughout this week (and into the weekend) I have been sick (sore throat, slight temperature, stuffed up nose, etc.), so I haven't had much time to post stuff here.

Better late then never, I guess. Here is what has been updated on the site in the past few days ...

The review for Shrek 2 has been added to the site. This has to be one of the biggest surprises of the year, and I mean that in a good way, and is definitely one of the best family films in quite awhile.

The review for Bruce Almighty has been updated and re-added to the site.

The review for The Emperor's Club, which I had to watch and write about for my Latin IV class, has been added to the site.

The preview page for Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban has been added to the site.

NEW changes to the May 2004 schedules! The review for The Fog of War has been pushed back to May 28th and the review for The Day After Tomorrow has been pushed back a day to May 29th for the current moment. I do not know if this will be perminent for now but I will keep everyone updated on the matter as things develop. For further changes check out the Announcements page.

Though a little late for those looking for advice, NEW box office predictions have been added to the Box Office Predictions page.

Poster purchase links for King Arthur and I, Robot have been added to the Coming Attractions page.

DVD cover art and purchase links for Hellboy and Kill Bill (Volume II) have been added to the DVD Depot.

The two TV spots for Spider-Man 2 have been added to the Spider-Man Screening Room.

The second international trailer for Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban has been added to the Harry Potter Screening Room.

The NEW trailer for Anchorman and the international trailer for The Day After Tomorrow have been added to the Screening Room. Also added are the updated links for the Catwoman teaser trailer and the trailers for Shark Tale, The Stepford Wives and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

... The reason the Day After Tomorrow has been moved is that I may take the day and spend with the guys one last time before graduation. The plans were to go to a Brewers game but I missed school on Friday because of my cold, so I don't know what the plan is now. I'll keep you all posted as soon as I know what is going on.

Now onto discussion!!

In news that is sure to be as over-blown as the Sigway incident, President Bush took a spill off his bicycle suffering minor cuts and bruises on his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees, according to the President's physician, Dr. Richard Tubb. On the record, presumtive Democratic nominee John Kerry stated, "I hope he's OK. I didn't know the president rode a bike" ... Sure you do. Come on, Kerry! Don't bull-sh*t us. We know how you feel. But off the record, Kerry had a different statement saying, "Did the training wheels fall off?" ... Need we remind you of the numerous times that you have fallen off your bike in the past few months, Mr. Kerry?

Speaking of Mr. Kerry, did you hear the latest crap-trap from his camp? He wants to delay the nomination, assuming he does get it to begin with, so that he can keep spending the millions of dollars that he raised during the primaries. If Kerry is nominated in late July as the party planned, he will have to make his $75 million check last five weeks longer than Bush ... What a load of bull-crap! And he complains about Bush's "underhanded" campaign methods? Then what the Hell is this? Are we in a freakin' socialist society where everything has to be even-steven? That how things go, the Republican national convention is always later then the Democratic one, so deal with it! It's not like you guys didn't see this coming!

And what's even more hilarious is Kerry calling for America's energy independence. Well, that's kind of hard for you to make that call Kerry when you side with the environmental wackos of this country! Where are we going to get the oil if we are going to be independent from the Middle East and we can't drill in Alaska? Tap the oil reserves? Why don't we just paint a giant target on the oil reserves to make it easier for the terrorists to hit?

In other news, the fat bastuard himself finally got his day in the European sun when he was presented the Palme d'Or, the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival, which concluded yesterday with its award ceremony. And to think I once had so much admiration for Quentin Tarantino ... Well, I still do but to a lesser degree because of this. Quentin ... WHY?! Moore, in "stunned silence" (Please! This is the liberal Hollywood elite combined with liberal European elite ... what film did you think they were going to give first prize to?) dedicated the award "to all the children in America, and in Iraq and around the world who have suffered from our actions" ... And don't forget the numerous individuals alive today who should be dead had it not been for our "unilateral" actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Oh, wait! I forgot! You don't give a sh*t about them! You only care about the dead terrorists of the world ... My bad!

"I don't know what impact it will have on the elections but these people (Bush and his officials) have been out of control from the get-go and we as Americans have been responsible for letting that happen" ... Whoah! This is OUR fault! Aren't you the one who made the claim that Bush STOLE the election? So how is it OUR fault?

Moore stated that Tarantino told him, "We want you to know that the politics of your film had nothing to do with this award, we are not here to give a political award, on this jury we have different politics and some of us have no politics -- you were given this award because you made a great film" ... I'm sure! Like I said before, this is the meeting of the liberal Hollywood eliter and the liberal European elite ... this isn't rocket-science people! I mean, look at the post-awards party entertainment ... Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morissette, both of which greatly opposed the war in Iraq! Surprise, surprise!! While Fahrenheit 9/11 was well-received by Cannes audiences, many critics felt it was inferior to Moore's Bowling for Columbine leaving some speculating that if "Fahrenheit 9/11" won the top prize, it would be more for the film's politics than its cinematic value ... Well, duh!

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend. I hope I can get better and start working on my first political book before senior exams begin on Monday.
