I think Anthony Hopkins is even creepier than Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet, but I also thought they bore a striking resemblance. This movie is what it looks like when David Lynch goes Hollywood. Apparently, the most glaring historical inaccuracies are: he was actually treated well at the sideshow that he worked for in London, and his real name was Joseph.
