Review of The Elephant Man (1980) by Bob P — 12 Mar 2009
A really enjoyable retelling of the life of John Merrick, aka The Elephant Man. The story here isn't strictly accurate, but it was an enjoyable dramatization with particularly good performances from Anthony Hopkins and John Hurt.
Apart from a few odd scenes, though, I would have never guessed this was a David Lynch film.
