Review of The Elephant Man (1980) by Jeremy S — 15 May 2010
This is David Lynch's most heartfelt film, I believe (I haven't seen The Straight Story, so I can't compare the two). the visuals are dark and the story of John Merrick (or Joseph Merrick) is a tragic yet inspiring one and Lynch portrays it perfectly.
