Review of The Elephant Man (1980) by Ken S — 15 Mar 2013

Now I enjoyed Lynch's "Eraserhead" and "Blue Velvet"...but "The Elephant Man" is above and beyond both. The tale of John Merrick is based on the true story of Joseph Merrick.

Now they got the name wrong...and their are several historical inaccuracies, but the artistic way in which Lynch gets Merrick's emotional tale is all here, and make this a fantastic film. Beautiful.
