Review of The Education of Charlie Banks (2007) by Micah B — 03 Aug 2010
This movie not only has a relatable protagonist, but also a sympathetic antagonist. It deals with the moral dilemmas of a turning in a friend who has committed a crime, while also showing the other side: a troubled youth who cannot escape criminal situations.
Though the conflict goes into remission for much of this film, it does not cease to be entertaining as we delve into the story world of the characters and learn more about each of them. Plus, for a movie with some violent scenes, it does not glorify violence.
And finally, there is movie that shows some negative consequences for women who go after the typical "bad" boy.
