Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Katrina C — 19 Jul 2009
A truly romantic, enjoyable love story. It was sweet with out going over-board, it was romantic with out going over the top, and it had enough "other" plot to keep you interested and liking most of the characters.
I did not like Dylan Thomas, nor did I understand why all the girls wanted him. He was a cad who did not deserve the attention he received. William, on the other hand, was a kind-hearted man who got the short end of the stick.
Luckily, at the end everyone got what they deserved. It is a movie with complex relationships which, at times, I found to be a little confusing and mabye a little rushed, but I still found them to be compelling.
The friendship between Vera and Caitlin was the foundation of the movie and risies from the ashes so to speak; t is a fun to watch them interact. I ended up liking this film much more then I expected.
