Review of The Edge of Love (2008) by Philippa W — 13 Mar 2011
Feeling a bit more like the opening chapters of a BBC TV drama I probably wouldn't have watched Edge of Love if I wasn't a Dylan Thomas fan. But even though Thomas isn't the central character I still found it fairly enjoyable; Knightley is really good, and her Welsh accent is convincing and Miller and Murphy are decent in support.
Very atmospheric and it looks the part as a period piece but the script just doesn't have enough going for it sadly.
