Review of The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) by Shane D — 29 Nov 2010
Consider that the original TV series is a well loved institution. Also consider, that given the circumstances and the year this was made, every element of casting (with exception of Burt Reynolds) was pretty damn spot on the money.
Then consider the fact that whilst light hearted...you always knew this was going to be tough on the eyes...and even tougher on the brains. I have a soft spot for Sean William-Scott and Iâ(TM)m also impartial to the charm of Johnny Knoxville but ultimately this is a pretty soulless piece of fluff.
Even for those of you who remember the General Lee flying through the air fondly this is pushing it. No matter how many times they show Jess Simpson in her bikini!
