Review of The DUFF (2015) by April J — 13 Mar 2015
I wasn't expecting much from this film, as it appeared to be a retelling of yet another "victimized teen" drama-comedy, but with a modern update via the latest technological weapons of social assault.
The movie was quite refreshing tho and actually not bad for just another teen film. It's snappy, sweet-spirited and really makes you laugh. There are the occasional punches, with the right mixture of wit and heart.
The Duff is nothing original per se, but the movie is fun and really worth a watch.
