Review of The DUFF (2015) by Natalia L — 26 May 2015
It's hard to hate this one. Sure, the story is the most predictable, note for note story out there. Sure, the characters are cut-out stereotypes. Sure, aspects of this movie feel utterly forced. Despite all of this though, there's this underlying charm thanks to the solid dynamics from the cast, as well as some unexpected humor that plays off of social media trends nowadays.
Oh, and bonus points for using a Daft Punk song in the soundtrack.
