Review of The Drop (2014) by Blandy L — 02 Mar 2015
I have not read the short story this was based on so I cannot compare and contrast. The movie had a slow burning plot that I thought would build up to a phenomenal and explosive ending but I actually ended up laughing with my jaw on the floor. The ending in it entirety came off a little choppy and clunky. It seemed like it tried to tie up loose ends but just left me with more questions.
Not too bad though if you can make it through the first hour or so that seems to pointlessly drag on forever.
