Review of The Drop (2006) by Tor M — 09 Apr 2015
A sketchy bar and the people that run it are who we get to know here. Some girls, some bad-guys and a dog are also in the mix.
This is a well acted film, with big names all over. The story is cool and enjoyable and the film moves smoothly forward. Not too many big moments, but OK pace and an increasing interest-curve makes it pretty solid.
The atmosphere is kind of gritty and tense and I like that. I will remember it for the casting and the acting, where Hardy, once again, is amazing.
