Sold as a video nasty Driller Killer is more psychological then visceral. For one thing nobody gets killed until the final act, as we see the main character get driven mad by the punk band next door and the filth all around him.
The final scene with the bed is chillingly unresolved. It might be gory but try and come to this without preconceptions and you might be pleasantly surprised.
