Review of The Driller Killer (1979) by Richard W — 26 Aug 2009
Infamous due to being caught up, if not instrumental in, the 80's video nasty hysteria , this was so tedious that the wife and I couldn't be bothered to finish it as we valued our time more. If it hadn't been for its exploitative video case sleeve and the help of some uptight conservative MP this would have disappeared into the obscurity it deserved, instead of benefiting from the infamy it gained.
This is badly acted, badly shot and by today's standards (and probably the standards of its time as well) its very tame and IMO isn't worth bothering with.
