In true Australian fashion (pun intended) this film holds the form of melodrama; love, passion, hate, revenge, and tragedy all collide in one town. There are no such thing as secrets, the mistakes from the past can not be hidden for too long.
. otherwise it breaks you as these characters find out. Fine performance as always by Kate Winslet. This is a unique and refreshing film.
