So nice to watch an original movie these days. Also cinematography, script, lighting, music was beautiful.

I felt guilty watching it. I had been secretly hoping it was going to be good but it exceeded my meagre expectations by a long stretch. It was engaging and unpredictable- a rare feat these days. The script was tight and not a cliché in sight. Then there was the acting Jesse Eisenberg was very good (I hadn't been optimistic I have to admit). Ayoade is a genius- modest but brilliant. Different from Submarine but familiar enough to keep his fan club alive and kicking. The double is a delight- thank you Mr Ayoade!
