Review of The Doors (1991) by Tony P — 02 Feb 2009
A loud and vigorous biopic full of the color and abuse inspired by the Lizard King. I've yet to see a historical figure so accurately duplicated as Kilmer's Jim Morrison. This performance solidified him as a superb character actor, and he has continued to be an example of acute human embodiment.
The cinematography is very toxic and communicates the journeys of mind-altering drugs. Both educational and entertaining.
