Review of The Doors (1991) by Steven C — 20 Jun 2009
When oliver stone wants to be, he a visceral and compelling filmmaker, and thank god for his style here, since morrison's story is weak. his life has nothing to say, all it is is him being fucked up and then dying.
visually its fantastic, the performances are spot on and the production design is brilliant. stone's pitch perfect recreation of the 60s is what this film should be known for.
