Unbelievable drug-rush movie and a flipped tribute to Jim Morrison! We follow the life of Jim very closely, actually configuered by his thoughts.

When he's alone in the studio, recording his memoires at the end of his days. It starts of realy poetic, from how he sort of left his parents,.

Studying filmschool in UCLA and all, meeting Pam and forming the band. I noticed the movie goes along with the songs pretty nicely,.

But is this correct according to when he thought of the lyrics, I think mostly yes. It's very well portrayed how he can toy with words and actually.

Put a lot more meaning to them, mostly inspired by certain drugs like peyote and LSD and a sort of traumatic experience with indians who keep following him throughout his life.

The part where he tries to convert the band in the dessert is one of many outstanding, dillusional, wicked scenes that show how far away he was.

Later he experiments on different levels with different people, for instance the bizar meet with Andy Warhol ("Call God with this telephone, Jim, yes...").

The controverse he rises, deliberately is amazing, the way he performs, or tries to, the inspiring, out-of-this-world songs and his relation with Pam.

Is all beautifully and brilliantly depicted. Kudos to Val Kilmer for this! What a drive!
