I received this movie from Net Flex called, "A Door in the Floor". I didn't know much about this movie or even remember putting it in my queue but I don't remember a whole lot lately. LOL! I guess can I chuck it up as either the holiday stress or even old age. LOL! I went a head and watched it any way. It was pretty good. It wasn't excellent or wonderful but just alright. The writing was good and it had an all star cast but it just wasn't there for me. The plot for this movie is this young teen age boy who goes to become an assistant to this well known children?s book author. The story is basically told through this shy young man's eyes. Once arriving he notices that the author?s life and people in the author's life are in shambles. The boy ends up getting involved in the mess that this author has created for himself and what was created for him. At first the author seems to be this typical artistic jerk who thinks the whole world revolves around him but then you realize that there is more to him than that. I would suggest this to a drama fan but not everyone. It's not one of those movies that I would like to buy but it's ok. The DVD does have some extra stuff but not a lot. See what you think..
