Review of The Doom Generation (1995) by Daniel S — 11 Jun 2007
I can tell you right now that I would not own this movie if it wasn't for Rose McGowan starring in it. Most of the characters are very annoying and the film has a homosexual undertone, despite this is a "heterosexual film by Gregg Araki".
You might find a few people who have seen this, but you will find quite a few more that haven't. Even the hardcore movie buff friends I know haven't even heard of it. There are some funny scenes, but this would be a budget buy if you ever come across it.
Sexual deviancy, decent music, and a cameo by Skinny Puppy make this movie a semi-cult classic. Not much of a plot to be seen, just a wild ride for three young adults over a two day period.
