Review of The Doom Generation (1995) by Trevor M — 01 Jan 2008
I don't think a single soul with even the slightest bit of a conscious can watch this without feeling the need for a bath. This is one of those desensitizing type of movies you watch growing up, to do just that desensitize yourself to the filth of this world.
Doom Generation spews fourth unrealistic scenarios that span around three youths who are slowly heading down a bath of destruction. The elements exposed in this movie are repugnant as it comes. I think it's more of the homosexual tendencies exposed in this movie that turned me off more than anything.
I consider myself pretty open minded, but that shit is just unnecessary. Getting to see Rose McGowan in probably her most slutty role yet was sort of redeeming, but other than that I don't want to see two bone heads jerking off and fantasizing over having some pompous orgy with her.
If there is a point at all in this movie besides shocking visuals and trashy dialogue please explain to me where I can find it?
