The great thing about Gregg Araki's films (not all of which I've seen yet) is that you never know what you're gonna get exactly. Could be shocking, funny, disturbing, thought provoking, etc. and this film doesn;t disappoint.
"A heterosexual film by Gregg Araki" probably should have been called a mostly heterosexual film.
"Gimme your finger...now, stick it up my ass".
And Rose McGowan's character was so classic, of the time period and of that mindset.
As always, Araki's not for everyone. Some moght see The Doom Generation as pointless. But for those who like his work, you'll like this as well.
