Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Burstnbloom- Timothy Brock — 14 Jul 2009
Found the movie a little disappointing after having read the book. Where the book focussed entirely on his thoughts and perceptions during his struggle to live in that immobile state, the movie shifted it to an external view - where you get to see his family and the impact his life, both before and after the stroke, had on them.
That somehow made his life, thoughts and motivations a little less admirable for me!
