The first twenty minutes is among the bravest film making I have ever seen. Acting is incredible, especially by Amalric who only has his eye to act with, so to make an emotional connection with the audience is amazing.
Also Max von Sydow is excellent in his part. Overall very worthwile but also a hard film to watch.
