Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Gary L — 12 Aug 2010
Absolutely beautiful. Emotion and color is almost saturated in this film, as every scene is vibrant and strong. A great film adaption of the book, and it becomes a visual support rather than outshining it or dumbing it down.
I recommend reading the book first (especially since it's a very quick read) because then you can uncover every depth of it. It's just great for the times when you're felling thoughtful and almost somber.
It's tragic but gorgeous and even freckled with great moments of humor.
