Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Geoffrey T — 11 Apr 2012
Honestly, I didn't care that much about what was going on here. I know that sounds terrible, considering this film is about a paralyzed man who writes a memoir by dictating it through a single blinking eyelid, but it was told in a way that was so removed from the story.
It felt distracted and underdeveloped the whole time. That being said, the direction here is very innovative, and worth seeing for that aspect.
