Review of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) by Nikhil U — 08 Nov 2013
This such an interesting, unique film. It's such a clever idea to gradually have Jean-Dominique's face revealed. At first all we see is what he is seeing through one eye. And then we get to see him from a third-person's point of view.
I felt his frustration as he was unable to express himself, for example when somebody turned the TV off when he was watching a football match. I cannot speak more highly of this amazing drama, which is based on a true story.
