To me doing and writing comedy is not a easy thing, especially balancing between comedy and drama. The Disaster Artist is a great example of it. This movie easily could've been a mockery of one of the best-worse movie that had ever made and this movie didn't take that narrative, instead it's a story of unconventional friendship and redefining 'what is success to you?'.

In our lives, we meet & encounter with many people. Some becomes good friends and others don't. Imagine that you decided to become a friend with a person who's ... not exactly a 'normal' This takes guts and courage to know someone. This unconventional friendship is one of center of the story. It's often funny & insane and that's where the comedy and drama lies. It works somehow for me and even relate to the story because I have my own friend who's not exactly... A normal person ??. This isn't me making fun of the person, rather, I'm thankful and grateful for the friendship because I've learned so much from this friend. This 'disaster artist' remind me of that.

Also, what is success? That depends on the people you ask and you'll get different response. Instead of letting other people writing what is success, why don't you write your success story? And hopefully you get to share that with someone you care and love. For our main character, luckily, he has someone.

Story is great and of course the acting is great as well. James and Dave Franco did wonderful job carrying the story and I hope that friendship between Tommy & Greg continues (the movie is based on their story)... As well as our own friends too.

So, should you see this movie? You have my recommendation! Of course, this is more of bromance movie and that might turn off some people. I hope that you can be able to look beyond that aspect and to see a story about friendship and redefining the success. ??
