The acting performances in this movie are awesome. James Franco could possibly win and Oscar for best actor. However, unless you are a follower of the cult Movie, the Room, you probably will not enjoy this movie.
We knew nothing about the room and did not really enjoy the movie. There were about a dozen people in the theater, it seemed none of them enjoyed it much. We went based on the ratings which are driven by the critics and the Room enthusiasts.
I am posting this as a caution. A little research beyond ratings is required.
