Review of The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Them (2014) by Valeria P — 13 Jun 2015
I was curious about this film project from the moment I first heard about the concept years ago and only now after the fact do I regret watching the two hour combined version of the "Her" and "Him" stories.
This is merely an assumption but I'm guessing the separate versions of the story and the comparison/contrast between them are actually what makes this project so special. This combo film version isn't terrible - its actually quite well-acted and put together - it just isn't anything unique. While watching it I felt like I had seen this kind of divorce story before and it failed to truly move me.
Hopefully one day I'll be able to revisit the "Him" and "Her" versions of the story but based on my reaction to this it's definitely not at the top of my to-do list.
