Review of The Dilemma (2011) by Kevin L — 22 Jun 2011
There were multiple problems with this movie, the list is too long to mention all of them. The premise of the movie is that Vaughn finds out that James's wife, Ryder, is cheating on him with a well to do nitwit, Tatum.
There is far too much emphasis on Vaughn's character and the his character building takes up the first 20 minutes of the movie, which had me ready to quit watching. With the exception of a few funny scenes, this movie seemed to drag on.
It couldn't decide what it wanted to be, A comedy, or a tragedy. Ron Howard has made some great movies, unfortunately this isn't one of them. My advice is to skip this movie.
