Review of The Dilemma (2011) by Zerrick G — 05 Aug 2011
Not a first-pick to see, but not bad either. This falls in the category of bromance drama (not comedy). Full of unbelievable contrived moments, but this is a morality play that almost succeeds at being a pretty good film.
If it had gone all the way has a full-fledged juicy drama, it would have done better. Vaughn actually is quite believable in his role. Channing Tatum brings a few moments of lightheartedness to this flick.
It's nice to see men emote and care about their friends. Finally a film about male friendships that doesn't involve pool parties and drinking beer.
