Review of The Dilemma (2011) by Ivan P — 14 Aug 2011
This seemed like about 5 different movies in one, and i'm sure that i've seen movies with similar storylines recently as well! First there was the small time salesmen trying to make it big with the big corporation, then there was the guy with the addiction who was wrongly accused for falling back to his vices.
. then there was the buddy flick that was about 2 guy friends hanging out and having a really good connection... then about the guy and girl who were not getting married anytime soon that were in danger of breaking up.
. and then the seemingly perfect couple that were not everything thought they were.. it was plenty distracting and just resulted in too many subplots and not enough depth in any to carry it... vince vaughn was cool as his wiseass self, and channing tatum part was cool, but kevin james, queen latifah and winona ryder were underutilised and jennifer connelly just annoying.
.. just an average nites viewing - and that was on dvd!
