Review of The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer (2003) by The M — 11 Apr 2008
I haven't read the book nor am I familiar with King's Rose Red, so my opinions stem soley from this film. I was most taken aback of the visual beauty of this film, how the scenes were both tranquil and ominous at the same time.
Lisa Brenner was also stunningly beautiful as Ellen Rimbauer, I couldn't stop staring at her. The story itself was interesting, though I have a feeling I didn't really get the whole gist of it.
All in all, I did enjoy watching this film and wouldn't mind seeing it again.
