To think this movie is based on the true story of Anne Frank and basically of everyone who was inside the building with her as well as those outside struggling to somehow wait it out until the war was over -it's a relatively sad and heart warming story that we managed to grasp thanks to her writings on the little diary that her father found and ultimately got to us.
