As you'd expect, much of it is uncomfortable viewing, but there are some good bits too. What I wasn't prepared for was how uneven it could be - a bit scattered, and sometimes jaringly historically inaccurate with vocabulary.
The endless five star reviews probably reflect more the fact they made such a subject watchable at all, as you're left feeling slightly underwhelmed.
