A fantastic, dare I say important, film. Diary covers topics that are quite rare in pop culture; the burgeoning sexuality of a teenage girl who isn't ashamed of her sexuality or punished for it.
Lead Bel Powley is fearless as Minnie and hopefully this performance will lead to more work.
