Review of The Devil's Own (1997) by Timmybwee B — 02 Jun 2009
This is a decent thriller. Basically a young IRA gunmen goes to the USA to get some weapons to bring back to Ireland for the resistance. He stays with a Irish American family. The father is a cop and is unaware this young man has anything to do with the IRA till later in the film.
Overall I found this to be a enjoyable film. Harrison Ford gives a great performance as usual. I thought Brad Pitt was also quite good. He did a good job on the Irish accent. Plus the film has a good supporting cast.
The story is well done and has some great characters. A film worthy of watching.
