Review of The Devil's Own (1997) by Alex L — 27 Jun 2009
A classic spy thriller with two superb actors in their prime: Pitt and Ford. The chemistry between these two couldn't be more perfect as Ford plays the righteous sergeant inviting the IRA Irish terrorist, Pitt.
The action is a change from the current generation of movies where it's all about matrix-induced gun scenes with slow-mo's and extreme closeups (see: Wanted). The movie is another testament to Pitt's versatility in playing different characters.
