Review of The Devil's Double (2011) by Sue W — 24 Jan 2012
Wow I'm so glad I bought this film, I saw the cover an thought "That is exactly what I'd imagine the devil would look like, guilded with guns etc". and this guy really was a Devil, worst even than his tyranical dad.
Fair play I never thought there was anyone madder and more in-humane than Sadam, he spawned the ultimate replacement in Uday, and fair play Domonic Cooper is amazing as both characters, ruthless and psychotic as Uday and solid and down to earth and heroic as Latif.
I don't think I've ever seen an actor play two different characters so well, except maybe with the exception of Peter Sellers, Alec Guiness and Jeremy Irons, but they never played characters so seriously or as completely different like this.
Amazing performance, I loved it!!
