Review of The Devil's Double (2011) by Meredith W — 02 Dec 2012
This is an opulent screen portrayal of the true life story of the son of Saddam Hussein - Uday Husseina's forced double. Sex, drugs and confronting violence area all everyday aspects of the psychotic Udaya's life and the film does not shy away from these themes.
Consequently, this is not necessarily an enjoyable or entertaining film. But it is a good one. Dominic Cooper gives a brilliant portrayal in the double role of Uday and Latif.
