Review of The Devil's Double (2011) by Khaled M — 20 Oct 2014
This is a pretty tough watch. Dominic Cooper is impressive in the dual roles of Uday Hussein and his hapless / ambitious / trapped / complicit 'double' Latif, who was press-ganged into service, but ended up getting in far too deep.
The atrocities meted out by Cooper on everyone and everything around him become almost too grotesque for words, but he sticks to his performance with striking conviction.
