Review of The Devil's Advocate (1997) by Kyle M — 23 Oct 2012
Although it is almost too sexually explicit, the combination of Pacino's performance, Hackford's direction, and Lemkin and Gilroy's screenplay makes this an outrageously entertaining and scary depiction of Satan as he is depicted in the Bible.
My religion professor in college suggested this movie (for those who could handle how sexually explicit it is) because Al Pacino's character is so well coordinated. The movie itself is really good too.
Charlize Theron is in one of her first roles and does a great job, and Keanu is bearable.
