Review of The Devil's Advocate (1997) by Siew M — 29 May 2009
Excellent. Chilling. The devil has never been better on film (except in "The Last Temptation of Christ," perhaps). Despite its ham and cheese here and there, it runs between being disturbing for perfectly plausible reasons of moral and ethical quandry, until it descends to a supernatural horror film that is terribly believable.
Classic Pacino, too.
