Review of The Devil's Advocate (1997) by Marios P — 29 May 2011
A brilliant film, which is complete in every way.
The acting is something more than excellent and proves that Hollywood isn't just stupid pretty boys and girls who can't act but get a big applause, because most of the audience has a boner for them and of course it isn't overreacting to say that K.Reeves and C.Theron gave one of their best performance(I didn't say anything about Al Pacino because he is a legend and I expected his performance to be great).
The director also manages to pass to the audience the meaning of the story as best as possible but the most remarkable thing is the plot, which after a non-stopping recital of suspense,it shows in the end that even a person, who just won't be corrupted, needs to satisfy his vanity.
Ps:it doesn't work as a horror movie.
