Review of The Devil Rides Out (1968) by Psypher P — 27 Sep 2008
While there's the occasional over-reliance on Lee standing, starting intensely at the camera in lieu of actual tension for the most part the frantic atmosphere works throughout. With Lee as our protagonist though the opponents are a mixed bag: Charles Gray is.
..well, Charles Gray and that's creepy enough and a guest appearance by the Angel of Death is actual rather impressive but the remainder of the cultists elicit little more than laughter during their thankfully-brief appearances.
