Really Sad, Funny and brilliant, Daniel Johnston is a genius, a great song writer, awesome visual artist with mental health issues. The best part of the DVD is when Daniel final re-meets Laurie, his muse after years writing tons of songs about her.
Oh and the brilliant performance over the phone of SPEEDY MOTERCYCLEon WFMU (with Yo La Tengo as the studio band) in its entirety is a real treat.
