Whether you're a Daniel Johnston fan or not - or maybe even never heard of him - this movie is great. A very insightful look into someone suffering from severe manic depression and how it affected his life, friends, and family.
It just so happens that in the case of Daniel, he was also an extraordinary artist, and you can see how his condition reflected itself in his music and art.
